Overview

BlueCare | Alexandra Hills, Springwood | Podiatrist (UnitingCare Queensland)

BlueCare is seeking applications from Podiatrists to join our highly skilled Statewide Allied Health Team on a Full Time or Part Time basis. This position is open to new graduates or early career podiatrists looking for a permanent role delivering care to community-based adults and ageing customers. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing a mix of in-centre clinic visits with home visits as required.

Responsibilities
  • Clinic-based role servicing community clients with the requirement to undertake home visits where necessary.
  • Supervision with a senior podiatrist and regular support from the AH Podiatry Discipline Lead.
  • Build and manage a community caseload with opportunities for varied and complex clients.
  • Potential to grow and expand your Podiatry service within the geographic locations.
  • Manage your own case load with realistic productivity targets.
  • Flexible days/hours to support work life balance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • New Graduates welcome.
  • Demonstrated ability in Podiatry assessment and treatment for community-dwelling customers with diverse needs (aged care, disability, health and wellbeing).
  • Proficiency in documentation and accurate record keeping in computer systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to establish rapport with staff, customers and carers.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a caseload while meeting service and customer needs.
  • Willingness to recognise other needs that BlueCare can assist with and provide relevant referrals.
Employment Details
  • Employment Status: Permanent Full Time with Part Time Considered
  • Location: Alexandra Hills and Springwood Area
  • Remuneration: $42.15 - $59.04 p/hr (dependent on experience) + Super + Salary Packaging (up to $15,900 Tax Free) + Employee Benefits including flexible work arrangements
