Podiatrist - Senior

The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Podiatrist - Senior to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Provide advanced podiatry care for acute and high-risk foot conditions
• Manage complex cases using clinical judgement with minimal supervision
• Lead foot health education and promotion programs
• Support clinical practice development and contribute to research activities

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Tertiary degree in Podiatry
• While not mandatory, a post graduate qualification would be well regarded
• AHPRA Registration
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Temporary full time (up to 12 months with the possibility of extension)
• Base salary ranging from $ $ per annum

About Us

Chronic Disease and Post Acute Programs provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary, community-based service to adult clients 18 years and over. The service operates within Integrated Care Services/ Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Community Services, Division of Medicine, providing multidisciplinary care to clients experiencing chronic illness and clients recently discharged from the acute hospitals.
