We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of multi-discipline construction projects across operational mine sites. You'll be accountable for the full project lifecycle, including budget, schedule, safety, and stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in civil, structural, and electrical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of construction projects, integrating civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
Oversee all phases of project lifecycle: feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Lead cross-functional teams and subcontractors fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with mining operations, engineering teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans.
Ensure compliance with site-specific safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulations.
Conduct site visits to assess progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control.
Manage procurement of equipment and services, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
Facilitate stakeholder communication and reporting, including regular updates to senior management and clients.
Ensure proper documentation, including technical specifications, change requests, and project close-out reports.
Support post-deployment testing, training, and operational handover to site personnel.
Prepare detailed client and company reporting.
What You'll Bring
Proven track record managing multi-discipline construction projects on mine sites.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to drive performance in high-pressure settings.
Proven ability to manage projects in challenging environments with strict safety and operational constraints.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to provide accurate reports to companies senior management.
Experience with mining safety standards.
Willingness to travel to remote mine sites as required.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
Desirable attributes include
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in multi-discipline construction projects, with at least 2 years in mining or remote site environments.
Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
