We are seeking an experienced CHPP Mechanical Supervisor to join our Wilpinjong mine site on a Monday to Friday roster.

The Wilpinjong mine is a low strip ratio open-cut mine located 58 kilometres northeast of Mudgee, producing high-quality thermal coal for export and domestic markets.

About the Role:
  • Safely and efficiently lead the CHPP Maintenance crews to meet plant targets in line with production schedules.
  • Ensure employees comply with safety procedures and systems, HR policies, and relevant statutory legislation.
  • Regularly inspect the workplace and promote mine safety among the workforce.
  • Manage breakdowns and planned maintenance to ensure CHPP safety and production targets are met.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve cost reductions and efficiency gains.
About You:
  • Strong commitment to safety and minimum 5 years' experience in coal (or similar) minerals processing plant maintenance.
  • Relevant competencies and tertiary qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and understanding of key drivers of a CHPP.
