The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Procurement Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This role will see you take the lead on procurement activities for major projects, ensuring effective sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance across capital works, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives.

This is a chance to work autonomously while collaborating with project teams, engineers, and senior stakeholders to deliver key strategic outcomes. You'll gain exposure to complex procurement challenges and play a vital role in shaping high-impact projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support major project delivery
• Lead sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiation processes
• Manage end-to-end procurement life-cycles in alignment with project milestones
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial alignment and risk mitigation
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance
• Contribute to the development of procurement frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor contract execution, track savings, and report on supplier performance
  
  

Selection Criteria

• Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Extensive experience in project procurement or contract management, ideally within infrastructure, construction, or IT environments
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex procurement activities with multiple stakeholders
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage across all levels
• Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office suite
