We are looking for an experienced, part-time (3 days per week), Quality Coordinator to assist in the process of continuous improvement in keeping with the intent of the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements at our new residential aged care residence. The position offers a part-time schedule of three days per week, with 7.5 hours per day.

We are a friendly, supportive team focused on quality clinical governance and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts to meet the Aged Care Standards and related requirements.
  • Support compliance, accreditation, auditing, and policy processes to achieve 100% compliance within the Quality Standards.
  • Educate, coordinate and mentor clinical staff to uphold quality and governance standards.
Skills & Experience Required
  • AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse)
  • Ideally, at least 3 years aged care experience, preferably in a quality role
  • Demonstrated quality, compliance & clinical governance understanding
  • Sound knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process
  • Excellent understanding of quality assurance & auditing processes
  • Ability to learn new systems and technologies
  • Continuous improvement, gap & risk analysis experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
  • Ability to coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
