Your Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and helping customers achieve their banking goals. This dynamic and high-impact role requires:

  • Exploring customers' needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve their financial goals and partnering with different specialists within the branch.
  • Keeping up with constant change by supporting customers with their digital literacy and online banking needs as we continue to innovate our offerings.
  • Being the face of the branch and customer service, becoming the go-to person for customers for anything from processing transactions, handling cash, investigating queries or assisting with paperwork, all while keeping risk considerations at the forefront.
  • Embracing an attitude of lifelong learning by bringing your brilliant mind and taking your career to the next level with on-the-job training and external development opportunities.
  • Building connections by supporting customers, giving back and making our communities a better place… while having some fun along the way.

This is a permanent, full-time or part-time (4 days a week) position located in Yarra Junction. The roster is 76 hours per fortnight for full-time and 60 hours for part-time.

What You'll Bring to the Role

To succeed in this role, you will consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We are looking for individuals who have:

  • Experience in a customer service environment and the ability to achieve targets.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset.
  • Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone.
  • Eagerness to understand and communicate what makes our bank different.
  • Drive for collaboration – mateship is crucial for us to work together and achieve our goals.
  • Experience in the banking and finance industry is a plus but certainly not essential.
