We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our team in Sydney. Our company is a respected Australian-owned business with a strong focus on stability, growth, and employee development.

The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a chartered accountant who is passionate about finance and leadership. Our organisation has a significant presence across the East Coast of Australia and a strong commitment to community engagement and ethical business practices.

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational finance success of our organisation. You will report directly to the Head of Finance and work closely with the CFO to oversee a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Managing month-end operations, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and General Ledger statements.
  • Driving group management and performance reporting.
  • Spearheading finance process and system improvement initiatives.
  • Leading and mentoring a large and evolving team of operational accountants based in Sydney.
  • Cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including IT, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, and Property teams.


Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a CPA/CA qualified finance leader with experience in financial reporting, stakeholder management, and team leadership. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable influencing, managing change, and building strong relationships.

You will have a passion for developing people and processes, and be eager to make a positive impact on our organisation's culture and operations.
