Overview

Join Cm3 Contractor Management in a pivotal leadership role as Assessment Operations Manager (WHS Compliance). You will drive operational excellence, lead a high-performing assessment team, and deliver Work, Health, Safety (WHS) risk review services to support safer workplaces across Australia. You will be responsible for effective utilisation of resources to foster customer satisfaction and ensure operational outcomes are met. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Melbourne with hybrid working arrangements across the South Bank and Scoresby offices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Assessment Team to consistently achieve KPIs and deliver high quality outcomes
  • Allocate WHS risk reviews and manage internal/external assessor workloads
  • Support the execution of roadmap and business strategy
  • Collaborate with other business units to ensure efficient and effective outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to uplift offering through continuous improvement
  • Foster an innovation mindset leveraging available technologies in AI and automation
  • Act as an escalation point for team and customer queries
Key Skills / Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in an operational role within a technical environment
  • 2+ years' experience in people leadership
  • Demonstrable experience in change management and innovation initiatives
  • Experience in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives
  • High level commercial acumen
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and bring people on a journey
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • An understanding of WHS legislation, regulations, and codes of practice advantageous
  • Exposure to AI and automation related initiatives regarded
