The Role:

Leverage your business acumen and act as a liaison between the Business Intelligence team and various business units and stakeholders to understand their requirements, key objectives and strategic goals and translate into technical BI solutions; Develop and maintain data-driven reports and visualisations utilising your expertise with PowerBI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional BI solutions leveraging expertise in PowerBI to develop data-driven reports and visualisations.
  • Optimise existing PowerBI reports and data models for performance and usability.
  • Provide training and support to end users for self-service analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation activities to ensure data quality.
  • Ensure data accuracy and adherence to governance standards in business applications.

Your Skillset:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics or a related field.
  • Proven expertise as a Power BI super user (PowerBI Desktop, PowerBI Service & DAX) with a strong track record of designing and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Proven experience partnering with business stakeholders, conceptualising business objectives and processes, documenting and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Good understanding of data warehouse concepts & dimensional modelling (Kimball) and SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Experience with SSIS, Microsoft Fabric Data Pipeline, or similar ETL tools.

You must be an Australian Citizen or hold Australian PR to be considered for this role.
