About the Business

The Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence leads whole-of-government engagement with the Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence, coordinating sector engagement and supporting lived-experience participation.

The Principal Policy Officer within this office is responsible for:

  • Leading the department's preparation and response to the Royal Commission, ensuring legal, policy, and governance obligations are met
  • Designing, implementing, and evaluating high-quality strategic policies
  • Monitoring progress, identifying issues, and providing high-level advice
Special Conditions

National Police Check required. Role status: Term up to 29 August 2026.
