The Head of Senior School is a key executive leadership role with responsibility for the educational outcomes, culture and wellbeing of students in Years 7-12. Reporting directly to the Principal and working collaboratively with the Deputy Principal and broader Executive Team, the Head of Senior School will lead the Senior School leadership team to deliver excellence in academic and co-curricular programs while fostering a supportive, values-based environment where students and staff can thrive.

As the College continues to flourish, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the Senior School (Years 7-12) with clarity, care and vision. The Head of Senior School will oversee student learning and wellbeing, staff leadership and operational management, working closely with the Principal, Deputy Principal and Senior Executive Team to ensure a culture of excellence, belonging and Christian character. This position is suited to a leader who is passionate about preparing young people for life beyond school, with a focus on strong academic outcomes and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of Senior School operations, including academic programs, student wellbeing, staff performance and compliance.
  • Promote a positive and visible culture across the Senior School, supporting respectful behaviour, Christian values and a safe learning environment.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, staff and the wider community to enhance student development, engagement and belonging.
  • Inspire and support a culture of learning through effective use of data, quality pedagogy and staff development.
  • Collaborate across P-12 to ensure alignment in strategic planning, educational transitions and policy implementation.
  • Oversee enrolment interviews, staff recruitment, handbooks, timetables, wellbeing programs, and events in the Senior School.
The successful candidate will be:
  • A highly experienced leader with a strong record of success in a secondary school context.
  • A capable team builder who communicates clearly and sets high expectations for staff and students.
  • Skilled in leading educational strategy, school operations, and pastoral care programs.
  • A committed Christian, actively involved in their local church and supportive of Christian education.
  • NESA accredited and eligible to teach in NSW, with relevant post-graduate qualifications in education or leadership (or working toward).
Commencing in January 2026, This is a Level 4 Executive Leadership role reporting directly to the Principal.
