SCCQ is seeking a dedicated and experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team working from our new Wellness Centre in Holland Park. This position plays a vital role in improving health outcomes for individuals and groups within the community through expert assessment, exercise prescription, and tailored care planning based on the client needs.

You'll be working across community and residential aged care settings supporting clients with complex needs and delivering personalised programs that promote mobility, independence, and wellbeing.

About the role

As The Exercise Physiologist You Will Be Providing Best Practice Clinical Care Within The Scope Of Practice, Including But Not Limited To The Following

• Delivering high-quality exercise physiology services to clients across aged care and community settings.
• Designing, implementing, and evaluating individual and group programs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Developing, facilitating and assisting with the running of health promotion, rehabilitation and support programs.
• Participating in care planning, case conferences, and health promotion initiatives.
• Conducting assessments and developing tailored rehabilitation and health education programs.
• Supervising Allied Health Assistants to ensure effective delivery of care and achievement of program goals.
• Upholding clinical standards and actively contributing to service development and continuous improvement.
  
  

What will you bring to the role:

• Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology with ESSA (AEP) accreditation.
• Eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
• Experience supporting clients with complex physical and/or mental health needs.
• Understanding of funding models (e.g. NDIS, Medicare) and related reporting.
• Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Professional liability insurance (as required for AEPs).
