Join our Operational Resilience, Governance and Structure team within Aggregate Risk and Prudential who play a key role working with a wide range of stakeholders to help meet obligations to the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) related to operational resilience, governance and contagion risk.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will provide timely and accurate advice on APRA's requirements and expectations to Macquarie's staff and businesses, including reviewing proposed new business and transactions for compliance with the relevant prudential standards and guidance. You will play a key role in supporting Macquarie's businesses in non-financial risk matters relating to Intragroup transactions, operational resilience and governance.

In addition, you will provide Line 2 review and challenge in relation to frameworks that support compliance with key APRA prudential standards.

What You Offer

• Ability to conceptualise abstract ideas and take pride in getting the details right while remaining aware of the bigger picture
• Strong communication and relationship management skills, including the ability to collaborate and engage with a broad cross-section of individuals
• Experience in financial services in a risk, treasury, regulatory compliance or legal role
• An intellectually curious mind and be a critical and independent thinker who enjoys taking responsibility for challenging tasks and solving complex problems
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, accounting or law is valuable.

We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
