Echuca Regional Health (ERH) serves the Shire of Campaspe and cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and nearby townships are located across the Murray River from one another. ERH is seeking an Administrator with document management experience to join the Health Information Service team. Be part of a supportive, forward‑thinking environment where your expertise is valued.

Responsibilities
  • Tracking and recording the exact location of each Medical Record in the system to enable quick retrieval of physical files when needed.
  • Developing and overseeing the archiving schedule for the department, coordinating tasks and setting priorities.
  • Handling and safeguarding sensitive health information in full compliance with patient privacy regulations and internal data governance standards.
  • Manually uploading and entering missing documentation into the internal information system.
  • Assigning and managing tasks for the filing team, supervising work to ensure efficiency, consistency and accuracy in the unification process.
  • Working directly with the external storage provider and overseeing requests and transfers of medical records through multiple systems.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Effective and efficient use of relevant technologies, including Microsoft Office components (Word, Excel, Outlook) and appropriate health management systems.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of handling confidential information and commitment to maintaining privacy.
