Your Role

As a HR Waste Truck Driver, you\'ll undertake refuse removal services and street cleaning in alignment with the City of Perth\'s standards. You\'ll report to the Assistant Supervisor and play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive a waste collection truck and compactor that has 3 axles.
  • Use of street cleaning plant, including street cleaning machines and water truck.
  • Drive and operate a variety of waste and street cleaning plant and equipment, including but not limited to:
    • Road sweeper
    • Footpath sweeper
    • Steam cleaner ute
    • High pressure ute
    • High pressure footpath cleaner
    • Front end loader
  • Maintain compliant work practices in accordance with relevant legislation, recordkeeping frameworks and Council policies.

Eligibility
  • Right to work in Australia (e.g., birth certificate, passport or current visa)
  • Fitness for work via a pre-employment medical
  • Current HR class Australian driver\'s licence
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months)
