Your Role

As a HR Waste Truck Driver, you'll undertake refuse removal services and street cleaning in line with the City of Perth's work standards. Reporting to the Assistant Supervisor, you'll be instrumental in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive a waste collection truck and a 3-axle compactor
  • Use street cleaning plant; include street cleaning machines and a water truck
  • Drive and operate a variety of waste and street cleaning plant and equipment, including but not limited to:
    • Road sweeper
    • Footpath sweeper
    • Steam cleaner ute
    • High pressure ute
    • High pressure footpath cleaner
    • Front end loader
  • Maintain compliant work practices in accordance with relevant legislation, recordkeeping frameworks and Council policies

Eligibility
  • Right to work in Australia (e.g., birth certificate, current passport or current visa)
  • Fitness for work via a pre-employment medical
  • A current HR class Australian driver's licence
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months)
