You're a product leader who will be responsible for the end-to-end in-life home loan journey.

Your mission is to delight and retain our customers by:

• Driving key home loan experiences for customers
• Ensuring we maintain a stable, reliable home lending system and product ledger
• Delivering our customers innovative and market-leading customer experiences by using customer insights, business data, and market context
  
  

You'll work in a durable, cross-functional team alongside engineers, designers, marketers, and operations and customer service - owning outcomes every step of the way.

For product leaders, we're looking for innovative thinkers, expert-doers who recognise that people leadership and coaching are necessities to achieve even bigger goals.

Where would you fit?

Your expertise in home loans will be key to unlocking our experiences for customers. Your focus will be on the home loan experience as well as the day-to-day management of the banking core system and ledger. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the home loans product and driving its success in the extremely competitive digital lending market.

You will own the ideation, planning, and delivery of the roadmap. This role will have a strong focus on influencing the core banking capabilities required for in-life servicing of customers. Building relationships with key stakeholders both external and within CBA is essential to the success of this role.

As a critical member of the team, reporting to the Crew Lead, In-Life, you'll be instrumental in shaping our In-Life and Unloan product. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll develop intuitive and innovative solutions that foster engagement, satisfaction, and long-term loyalty. Your leadership will ensure Unloan delivers seamless, intuitive, and delightful experiences that resonate with our customers, but also ensures a stable and reliable platform.

Role Overview

• Develop and execute a thoughtful strategic product roadmap by working closely with the Crew Lead, Technical Lead, and Design Lead to identify the business's biggest problems to solve.
• Own the product vision and strategy for Unloan Home Loan Experience.
• Analyse customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Lead and coach continuous discovery across the value stream to deeply understand customer pain points, behaviours, and unmet needs.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including executives, business analysts, and engineers within CBA.
• Ensure all solutions and features owned by the team are valuable.
• Ongoing communication of product strategy, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders.
• Drive a culture of empowered teams.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a digital-first, high-growth environment. You're a strategic leader, able to lead and coach a team of Product Owners.
• Strong background in customer experience, digital products.
• Track record in team leadership or demonstrated ability to mentor and guide teams to achieve more.
• Deep, practical experience in how to best execute on continuous product discovery and agile delivery.
• Ability to turn insights into action, balancing data, intuition, and business context.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to lead through influence.
• Customer-obsessed: you go beyond surface feedback to uncover root problems.
• Iteration mindset: you don't just meet the requirement, you find the best way to solve the problem but deliver along the way
• You're an expert in home loans and are excited to push the envelope for innovation.
