Key Responsibilities

Prepare Level 3 electrical designs for underground and overhead networks. Liaise with clients, councils, and network authorities to ensure compliance and approvals. Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data for design development. Produce design documentation including CAD drawings, schematics, and technical reports. Ensure designs meet the requirements of the ASP Scheme and relevant standards (e.g., AS/NZS 3000, Service and Installation Rules). Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet client and regulatory deadlines. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Provide technical support and advice to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience
  • ASP Level 3 Accreditation with relevant electricity distributor.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design within the ASP framework.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Strong understanding of local distribution network standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Valid driver\'s license and ability to travel to project sites.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with GIS systems and digital design platforms.
  • Knowledge of NER (National Electricity Rules) and contestable works processes.
  • Familiarity with environmental and safety standards in infrastructure design.
