Advertising Compliance Officer

We are seeking a part time Advertising Compliance Officer to support the Group's compliance function by reviewing and coordinating changes to website and marketing content to ensure compliance with various laws related to advertising, including but not limited to the Australian Consumer Law.

You will also support advertising compliance through developing processes to achieve the Group's compliance aims. In addition, you will identify process improvements, problem solve and cultivate a happy and productive work environment.

What you'll be doing

What does a normal day in the life of a Advertising Compliance Officer look like?

While no two days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your typical day to include some of the following things:

  • Working with the Compliance and Legal team to assist in the Group's advertising compliance
  • Review all website content and advertising material to ensure it complies with Australian Consumer Law and other relevant legislation
  • Assist merchandising, copy and graphics teams in creating website content
  • Assist Legal team with managing relevant licensing and registration requirements
  • Distribute and manage compliance training modules for new and existing employees
  • Provide filing and administrative assistance to Legal
  • Review and implement processes to improve workflow
Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring to the role:

  • 1-3 years' experience working in a similar role
  • Previous experience in legal compliance or application of legal principles to marketing.
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
