Are you a trade compliance wizard with a knack for turning regulations into opportunities? Mars is seeking a Trade Compliance Country Manager - ANZ to join our team in a newly created role.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Trade & Customs Compliance, you will help shape the future of trade compliance and collaborate with a highly engaged global team and a knowledgeable, inspiring manager.

What you'll do
  • Be the superhero of trade compliance for Australia and New Zealand, acting as the primary interface with freight forwarders, government agencies, and customs brokers.
  • Design and implement compliance programs that would make even the strictest customs official smile.
  • Conduct audits and develop strategies for cost avoidance that would impress even the most frugal of accountants.
  • Lead initiatives in duty drawback and free trade agreements.
  • Share your wisdom by training Mars Associates on new trade policies, turning them into compliance champions.
Qualifications
  • Specialized knowledge in trade and customs compliance regulations for Australia/NZ
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in trade and customs compliance
  • Strong experience in complex CPG, legal, or consulting environments
  • 5+ years of experience in complex CPG, legal, or consulting environments
  • Broker's License or Degree/Certificate in Compliance, International Logistics, Law, or related fields preferred
  • Australian citizenship required for this position
