Overview

Flinders Christian Community College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma Qualified Wrap around Kinder Carer (WAKC) to join our team at Mt Martha campus. This is a casual position with immediate start available for someone who is committed to Christian education and can provide a safe, engaging, and fun space for our littlest learners before and after Kinder.

Kindergarten care will support three and four-year-old children, offering authentic and engaging learning opportunities guided by the Reggio Emilia Philosophy.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Coordinator in leading the day-to-day WAKC program.
  • Work directly with children, with involvement in planning and monitoring, and some administration as directed by management.
Hours and Availability

Flexible operational hours from Monday to Friday, with morning sessions from 6:45am to 9:15am and afternoon sessions from 2:45pm to 5:45pm. Candidates may be available for any or all listed time slots.

Kinder@Flinders aims to provide authentic and engaging learning opportunities for three and four-year-old children to explore, investigate and learn about themselves and their world. Children are encouraged to develop investigative, inquiry-based skills, curiosity and wonder through projects inspired by the Reggio Emilia Philosophy.
