About The Opportunity

Manning our Spring Central clinic you will be the first point of contact, you'll provide a warm welcome to veterans, visitors, and our healthcare professionals. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and professional experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

About You

You are a highly experienced Receptionist with a background in practice administration. With strong interpersonal and communication skills, you build trusting relationships and can navigate multiple stakeholders with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing reception area and operations, including answering calls, emails and scheduling appointments.
  • Handling veteran inquiries with care, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Processing documentation including, Medicare and DVA claims
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting the clinical team

Ensuring Compliance with health care regulations and RACGP accreditation requirements

Selection Criteria

Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy medical practice

Proficiency in Best Practice or other medical booking software

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team

Desirable

Experience working with Australian veterans or veteran-focused services

Knowledge of the DVA claims process
