As Senior Graphic Designer at FLG, you'll play a pivotal role in our dynamic in-house creative team, crafting visually impactful, multi-channel design and motion content across some of the most recognisable names in fitness: Goodlife, Fitness First, Zap, Jetts NZ, and Barry's.

This isn't just about making things look great (though that's a given). You'll fuse creative flair with strategic insight to deliver work that's not only on-brand but genuinely drives results. From campaign concepting to rollout, you'll collaborate closely with Marketing, Production, Fitness, and corporate stakeholders to bring ideas to life that engage our members and fuel our business growth.

This is a hybrid role, combining three office days with work from home.

About You:

You are a highly skilled and detail-oriented designer with a strong background in creative development and production. You excel in creating high-quality design and motion from ideation to execution, ensuring seamless collaboration between FLG stakeholders, marketing, creative, and production teams.

• Experience across brand, digital, print and motion.
• Adobe CC expert – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects with Premiere a bonus.
• Strong conceptual thinker with sharp eye for layout, type and storytelling.
• Delivers high-quality work fast, under pressure.
• Confident presenting ideas and responding to feedback.
• Organised, detail-driven, and able to juggle multiple projects.
• A collaborative team player with a growth mindset and a can-do attitude.
• A bachelor's degree in design or a related field
• 5+ years' experience in an advertising agency, in-house team, or production company

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To lead the design and execution of integrated campaigns across digital, motion, and print, ensuring alignment with brand and business goals in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of layout, typography, message hierarchy and branding and ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Strong understanding of motion graphics design principles, storytelling, and pacing and a sharp eye for detail, timing, composition, and visual design.
• Create high-quality assets across digital and print including OOH, paid and organic social, signage, eDMs, websites, club collateral, presentations, infographics, and more.
• Develop motion deliverables for social and digital campaigns using After Effects and Adobe Premiere (desirable).
• Concept development and contribute to creative ideation across campaigns and brand projects.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows effectively, from small projects to large-scale brand campaigns
• Ensure all creative work adheres to brand guidelines and enhances the brand across touchpoints.
• Stay informed of industry trends and recommend new tools and techniques.
• Foster collaboration across creative, production, and marketing teams.
• Contribute to a culture of creativity, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
