About the Opportunity

As Head of Distribution, you will report directly to the Chief Investment Officer and lead Kokoda's distribution strategy across institutional investors, family offices and/or financial planners. You'll engage with a diverse range of investors, build long-lasting relationships and drive capital inflows through strategic, bespoke offerings. With responsibility for ensuring compliance, structuring and reporting, this role is pivotal to Kokoda's continued growth and success in the investment space.

About the Role

• Lead and execute the distribution strategy across institutional, family office and/or financial planner channels
• Drive investor engagement through targeted roadshows, presentations and tailored investment briefings
• Develop and manage relationships with fund managers, superannuation platforms, family offices and financial planners
• Support structuring, documentation and compliance needs in collaboration with legal, finance and external advisors
• Oversee the onboarding process and ensure exceptional investor care from initial contact through to ongoing reporting and updates
• Identify and structure direct equity investment opportunities in Kokoda development projects, including bespoke equity participation models
• Represent Kokoda at industry events, forums, and networking opportunities

About You

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in capital raising, investor relations or asset management, with proven experience engaging with institutional investors, family offices and financial planners
• Skills: Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to develop compelling investment propositions and manage relationships with high-net-worth and institutional investors
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of capital structuring, due diligence, compliance and investment governance frameworks
• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in finance, property, economics or related fields
• Leadership: A proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with a track record of building and maintaining strategic relationships across diverse investor channels
• Communication: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, capable of tailoring messages for different audiences and stakeholders
