Our client is a true Australian success story that has been going from strength to strength within the Telecommunications sector. They have an outstanding reputation and continue to invest in their wholesale sales and operations team.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team in either Brisbane or Melbourne and will be responsible for driving new business opportunities across the wholesale market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new client acquisition and grow the Wholesale customer portfolio in order to meet sales and strategic growth targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, drive negotiations and commercial discussions whilst nurturing and developing long term strategic client relationships.
• Forecasting and pipeline management
• Competitor analysis with a thorough understanding of wholesale opportunities and trends.
• Manage multiple concurrent strategic initiatives, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are brought together and managed effectively.

Key Experience Required:

• Business Development experience across the wholesale Telecommunications industry with experience of selling connectivity services.
• Strategic business development and partnerships approach.
• C Level experience from a communications, presentations and negotiations perspective.
• Strong commercial outlook with the ability to be creative and drive strategic initiatives forward to close.
• Collaborative, team based approach with excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills from a technical and business perspective.
• The attitude to win collaboratively.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Negotiation skills with a knack of creating value and a win-win scenario.

This role is available in either Brisbane or Melbourne and can have someone start immediately.
