Operating under an exclusive wholesale supply chain model, Woodhouse distributes its product ranges through a recognised network of Building Material and Hardware Merchants, Home Centre Outlets, and Truss and Wall frame manufacturers.

Our range includes Structural and Decorative Re-manufactured Plantation Pine products for internal and external building projects and applications.

THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced merchandiser to join the team on a full-time basis to service Sydney and surrounding areas, and other parts of New South Wales. The candidate will be mainly servicing the area of Northern NSW and would ideally live within the central coast region.

The package on offer, to the suitable candidate, includes a motor vehicle. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain regular services to customers in the designated areas to achieve set sales and targets;
  • Visual merchandising – ensuring the product is stocked as per planograms, correct placement of orders for store sales and ticketing is maintained;
  • Relaying existing stores and merchandising new stores;
  • Promote the marketing of the company's products;
  • Effectively manage and resolve customer complaints;
  • Act as a brand ambassador;
  • Work autonomously to manage allocated territory to deliver business objectives;

This role will require some overnight travel as part of its regular call cycle.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Ideally, you will reside around the central coast region;
  • Previous merchandising experience, preferred;
  • Must possess a current driver's licence;
  • Working knowledge of planograms;
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment;
  • Exceptional time management and ability to prioritise and plan for effective territory coverage;
  • Proven history of meeting & exceeding targets;
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster professional relationships;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Resilience to work under pressure and think on your feet;
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills;
  • Experience with CRM systems use, highly regarded;
  • Prior experience in a timber wholesale environment will be highly regarded, although not essential.
