Lalla Rookh Bar & Eating House is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our team.

We are looking for a qualified chef with at least 3 years of experience in a premium, high-volume à la carte setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience across various sections in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities
  1. Preparation of food items within a section of the kitchen
  2. Managing stock levels within the section and reporting low items to the Head Chef
  3. Supervision of chefs within the section and overall kitchen operations
Main Duties
  • Preparation of all items required within the assigned section
  • Cooking of meats, vegetables, and pastries
  • Effective time management
  • Stock rotation
  • Compliance with health regulations
  • Supervision of chefs to ensure duties are completed within their sections
Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of experience demonstrating skills in commercial cookery or a diploma in commercial cookery
Essential Skills
  • Basic knife skills
  • Vegetable cutting
  • Basic butchery
  • Proficiency in the five basic methods of cooking
Employment Experience
  • Minimum three years of experience managing a section within a commercial kitchen
