Summary
At ESET, our Channel Sales Account Manager's key responsibility is to generate revenue, manage client accounts, and develop new sales strategies, pitches, and business plans. This role involves business development within the designated sales territory, focusing on acquiring new logos and pursuing large enterprise deals across key verticals.
You'll be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the ESET Security Platform. This role is ideal for a proactive closer with a hunter mentality to manage and grow accounts, secure new business, and increase market share by displacing competitors.
Responsibilities/Duties- Prospect, develop, and close new enterprise customers for ESET security products within a defined territory, qualifying opportunities and allocating resources effectively.
- Engage throughout the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, including cold calling, networking, and initial engagement.
- Interact with potential customers to understand their needs and convert prospects into clients, focusing on new markets and customer segments.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to maximize revenue, manage sales activities, and deliver accurate forecasts in CRM.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue and quota targets.
- Adopt a hunter strategy to prospect and land new enterprise accounts with significant seat counts.
- Present the ESET Security vision through demos, events, and targeted initiatives.
- Manage evaluations, proofs of concept, and RFPs/RFIs for large/global enterprise prospects.
- Address complex business problems to ensure customer success and positive experience.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of ESET's product portfolio and collaborate with VARs to generate pipeline and opportunities.
- Coordinate sales activities across teams and share best practices.
- Work with management on acquisition strategies and process improvements.
- Coach and train team members, develop playbooks, and conduct sales trainings.
- 5+ years in field sales or similar quota-driven roles in software/technology, preferably in cybersecurity or SecOps.
- 3+ years evangelizing enterprise tech, SaaS, and cybersecurity solutions; security background is a plus.
- Ability to coach BDMs and share successful strategies for enterprise account acquisition.
- Experience with SaaS architectures and security technologies like EDR/XDR & MDR.
- Proven track record of over-achievement and leveraging channel partnerships.
- Strong pipeline management, planning, and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interpret legal and technical documents.
