In the role of Senior Health Banking Manager, Melbourne, you will jointhe Health Banking team that's doubling down on winning together. This role is a hybrid both broker and proprietary focus.
This role is a customer interfacing role which proactively manages the customer relationships and meet their needs by providing fully integrated financial service solutions through the most cost effective and appropriate channels. Critical to the success of this role is the ability of the Manager to develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to grow their portfolio with new customers.
Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:
- Develop a structured sales approach through a needs analysis approach to frame and drive meaningful customer conversations which deepen the relationship and drive customer satisfaction and referrals across the internal and external networks.
- Utilising nab's CRM record your activities, sales opportunities, and specialist referrals through to completion.
- Assist in the writing, processing, and drawdown of lending proposals.
- Proactively manage your personal development and those of your peers and support team.
- Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance).

We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need:
- Business Development/Sales/Client Acquisition and/or Operations Growth Management, ideally within Banking or Financial Institutions, and/or equivalent professional experience in a related career, highly desirable if in the Health Sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.
- A curious mindset in seeking out opportunities to increase share of wallet for customers in the portfolio.
- Proven capability in managing complex client relationships and driving client advocacy.
- Demonstrated tenacity and resilience to increase enterprise value driven by working closely with and maintaining strong agreed strategy with the Business and Private Bank
- Ability to build and maintain effective and constructive working relationships with a range of senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong ability to communicate at both strategic and operational level internally and externally, making effective decisions balancing business and stakeholder needs.
