We currently have opportunities available for Risk Analysts to join our Global Sanctions team. These roles are 12-month max-term contract positions, based at our Parramatta offices.
As a Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for managing queries raised by our branch network and other internal stakeholders within the business. In your new role, you will assess and investigate AML/CTF/Sanctions events, gathering relevant information and providing recommendations to the relevant business unit. You will also handle complaints and escalations where needed, using a customer-centric approach.
This is a full-time role offering 38 hours per week. Our operational hours are between 7am – 8:30pm Monday to Friday, with shifts allocated on a rotating roster. Hybrid work arrangements with a minimum of 2 days in the office.

What do I need?
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to help drive change and adapt to changing policies and procedures as required.
You will have the ability to investigate complex matters to make sound and timely decisions in a manner that meets the relevant legislation and policy compliance requirements. You will have strong relationship management skills to effectively build strong working relationships with your stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are a must. A background in Banking and Financial Services and knowledge of Global Trade Sanctions legislation and processes would be advantageous but not essential.
