Overview

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a skilled team to deliver innovative and practical design solutions for roads and drainage systems
  • Drive strategic planning and oversee the successful execution of capital works and operational programs
  • Champion exceptional customer service by supporting the team in resolving road and drainage enquiries with professionalism and care
What We Are Looking For
  • Strong leadership skills to head a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in project and operational management, including experience in the preparation and management of substantial budgets
  • A knowledge of external road funding such as Metropolitan Regional Road Group and Department of Transport grants
  • Extensive experience in the latest road and drainage design requirements in line with Austroads and Main Roads WA
  • Proven written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed analytical capabilities, to ensure accurate and concise engineering advice is provided and legislation is interpreted correctly
Essential Requirements
  • Current driver's licence
  • Bachelors degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old) — Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition
