Overview

Catering HQ is seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie or Commis Chef to join our kitchen teams at Castle Hill RSL. Opportunities available in both our Restaurant and Function/Event Kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends and techniques, with the ability to contribute to menu planning
  • Maintain quality and consistency of dishes
  • Assist with menu planning and contribute to large service periods
  • Provide exceptional customer care and maintain knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS
  • Show leadership, support the team, and take ownership while remaining open to learning
  • Be honest, results-focused, and able to give/receive constructive feedback
  • Maintain immaculate presentation and grooming
  • Manage daily kitchen functions effectively
Key Qualities
  • A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Team spirit with a bright, positive demeanor
