Full-time | Melbourne-based | Monthly national travel required (weekends)

The Babybee Group is one of Australia's fastest-growing baby brands, trusted by thousands of families every year. In 2026, we'll deliver our biggest-ever Expo program — 20 national events — and we're seeking an experienced leader to take ownership of this program and our Melbourne showroom.

About the role

As our Expo & Showroom Manager, you'll oversee the end-to-end delivery of The Babybee Group's national Expo program while managing our Melbourne showroom operations. This is a hands-on, mid–senior leadership role combining strategy, operations, and people management.

You'll own logistics, work with event partners, and hire and lead a national pool of trained staff to ensure The Babybee Group delivers world-class brand experiences. With monthly interstate travel (typically weekends), you'll be on the ground driving standards and inspiring your team.

This is a highly visible, business-critical role where success is measured not just in flawless execution, but in driving customer conversion, margin impact, and brand reputation.

What you'll do

• Own and deliver The Babybee Group's national Expo program.

• Manage logistics, freight, stand builds, and on-site operations.

• Lead Melbourne showroom operations and customer journey design.

• Recruit, train, and manage up to 20 Expo and showroom staff.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Ops, and Customer Service to align execution.

• Manage budgets, track ROI, and report on performance.

• Share customer and market insights to guide broader business decisions.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience leading large-scale events, retail activations, or experiential programs.

• Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience managing both permanent and casual staff.

• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills with vendors and partners.

• Commercial acumen and experience managing six-figure budgets with accountability for ROI.

• Data-driven, using insights to optimise performance, attachment rates, and customer experience.

• Familiarity with event or project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Airtable).

• Calm under pressure, adaptable, and hands-on in fast-moving environments.

• High EQ and excellent communication skills, able to influence across all levels.

• Passion for delivering standout customer experiences and genuine interest in the parenting category.

• Availability to work weekends and travel interstate monthly.

Why join The Babybee Group?

• Be part of one of Australia's fastest-growing baby brands.

• Lead a high-visibility, business-critical national program.

• Opportunity to shape and scale The Babybee Group most important growth channel.

• Supportive, collaborative culture that values innovation, ownership, and results.
