Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide estimates for automated test preparation and execution during the delivery phase.
  2. Assist Technology Delivery team in design and build activities.
  3. Provide quality assurance of execution of required testing encompassing the automation of functional, system, integration, regression.
  4. Provide input into problem solving capability in analysis and trending.
  5. Provide input into the scheduling of test environments and setup of data.
  6. Analyse and produce test reports.
  7. Support Test Analysts in the creation, maintenance and reuse of Test assets e.g. test cases, scripts, documentation.
  8. Utilise agile methodologies where appropriate in your work.
  9. Complete appropriate documentation as part of technical testing.
  10. Record details of all activities in appropriate software.
  11. Maintain and support automation standards current within the group.
  12. Maintain and support automation frameworks as directed by Quality Technical Test Team Lead.
  13. Raise, report and track resolution to any defects found during testing and escalating in accordance with set procedures.
  14. Collaborate with Test Analysts, Solution Analysts and developers to agree acceptance criteria on all stories.
  15. Ensure acceptance criteria are written in a form that can be turned into test cases.
  16. Assist developers by preparing automated testing notes for stories. This may include guidance of simple acceptance tests that developers can complete in addition to their Unit and compound tests.
  17. Prepare automated test cases according to desired automated test coverage and business value and risk prioritisation.
  18. Good understanding of testing lifecycles, testing matrices, review and sign-off processes.
