About The Role

As a Tester, you will contribute to developing a cutting-edge long-horizon mine plan optimization application. This feature-rich .NET desktop application, built with DevExpress and Gurobi, handles complex code and large datasets, emphasizing software performance. You will be part of a dynamic team that drives innovation and efficiency in the mining industry.

The Automation Tester will be responsible for planning, designing, managing, executing, and reporting tests using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring systems perform as specified.

Responsibilities
  • Define and create test cases and test plans as part of an Agile team.
  • Maintain and execute test scripts.
  • Participate in all application development phases according to the test strategy.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and priorities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Create test scripts in .NET.
  • Develop comprehensive test cases and prepare test data.
  • Create and maintain automation code within a CI/CD environment.
  • Contribute to a high-performing and inclusive team culture.
About You

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in test automation and framework development.
  • Experience with automation testing in C#.
  • Ability to understand technical and business requirements.
  • Knowledge of testing best practices and techniques.
  • Detail-oriented with strong cross-functional skills.
  • Experience with testing tools, metrics, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks, version control (e.g., Git), and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and pipelines for CI/CD.
  • Proficiency with SQL and databases.
  • Experience working within Agile processes.
