Inverell Community Support is the leader in aged care social support services in the Northern New England region of NSW. With over 30 years of providing home support services, we enable older people to age independently and remain connected to their community.

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven leader to guide our organisation into its next chapter. This role leads a team of Service and Program Coordinators and 17 staff across our key service streams: Transport, Social Support, and Meals on Wheels. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Services Manager will bring strong leadership, compliance knowledge, and community engagement to ensure Inverell Community Support continues to thrive as a trusted not-for-profit service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide sound and stable leadership, supporting the dedicated and experienced group of service & program Coordinators and fostering an existing vibrant and healthy workplace and staff team.
  • Ensure compliance with the New Aged Care Act and Support at Home standards.
  • Communicate with funding managers and oversee reporting and acquittals.
  • Deliver high-quality services supported by strategic planning.
  • Implement Board direction into operational plans.
  • Manage organisational budgets and financial accountability.
  • Promote the organisation across the region and strengthen community partnerships.
  • Oversee HR, workforce development, and Work Health & Safety improvements.
About You
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in the community or aged care sector.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and funding requirements within aged care services or similar.
  • Proven ability in strategic and financial management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders, staff, and community partners.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, professional, and values-based workplace culture.
