Overview

Join to apply for the Financial Accountant role at Uniting Vic.Tas.

Responsibilities
  • As a Financial Accountant with our Financial Assets and Revenue team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely capture and reporting of all government and other funding body revenues.
  • You will assist with various reporting requirements including ad hoc reporting for accountant and project queries as well as day-to-day operational cashflow.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining funding schedules, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, creating journals and assisting with the management of Uniting's investment portfolio.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive experience working in large/complex organisations
  • Previous experience with tier 1 or 2 Financial Management Systems (preferably D365 or other systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft AX, Tech One)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
