Base pay range

A$280,000.00/yr - A$330,000.00/yr

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our high-performance Professional Services team. This is a customer-facing consulting role requiring exceptional collaboration and the ability to build strong partnerships with customers and within Datacom. The successful candidate will ideally have previous Professional Services experience with external customers and exposure to delivering projects across consulting, design, configuration, testing and deployment.

Our offices are based in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth. We support flexible work arrangements and encourage teams to determine what works best for them.

Please note that to be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and must have an NV1 security clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Customers, Partners, Sales and Technical teams in a cross-disciplinary role
  • Ensure IT infrastructure-based projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed scope
  • Act as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions, delivering remotely or on-site as required
  • Provide pre-sales support and expertise to the sales team

Qualifications
  • Experience with external enterprise customers delivering projects in professional services
  • Design, implementation and optimization experience in:
    • Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange
    • Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, AHV)
    • Strong ability to communicate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Ability to work independently on priorities and as part of a team
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desirable: design, implementation and optimization experience in one or more of the following:
    • Backup and recovery (e.g., Commvault, Veeam)
    • Hyperconverged technologies (e.g., Nutanix, Dell, Cisco)
