About the role
ALPA is seeking passionate and enthusiastic retailers to:
- Manage the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote First Nations community
- Train and mentor local team members
- Deliver on ALPA's nutrition policy
- Work with merchandising, nutrition and local stakeholders to meet community needs
- Minimum of three years' retail management experience (mandatory)
- Experience using electronic retail systems for stock control, point of sale and staff management
- Certificate III in Retail or an ability/willingness to obtain within the first 12 months
- Ability to manage the unique challenges of remote communities including limited resources, unpredictable supply chains and cultural considerations/sensitivities
- Competitive salary with ability to salary package
