Stamford Plaza, one of Brisbane's finest five star hotels, is currently looking for a motivated and diligent Full Time and Casual Stewards to join the busy kitchen brigade.

A Little Bit About This Role

As a Steward joining our Kitchen Brigade, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the kitchen team in ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Cleaning and maintaining all Food & Beverage outlet's work areas, materials and equipment
  • Ensuring each outlet is supplied with clean and dry operational equipment
  • Ensuring the back of house operations run smoothly
  • Complying with Workplace Health and Safety and Manual Handling

Experience/Skills Required For This Role
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferably within a 5 Star Hotel
  • Must have legal rights to work in Australia with no restrictions

Ability To
  • Work 'hands on' in a team environment
  • Work various shifts including mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Effectively manage your time as well and follow instructions
  • Enjoy physical work in a busy hospitality environment.
