Overview

Location: Travelling to visit clients around Ryde and surrounding areas

Employment type: Permanent Part Time or casual roles available - flexible hours and days

Pay: From $33.15 - $42.88 per hour + superannuation + km reimbursement (99 cents per km)

Employer: Not-for-profit employer

Responsibilities
  • Supporting and connecting with clients by assisting with day-to-day in-home tasks (cleaning, tidying, washing) and other tasks per the care plan
  • Transport to appointments and shopping
  • Meal preparation
  • Social support or respite for family/carers
  • Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
To Be Successful In This Role You'll Need
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older Australians in the community
  • Comfort interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
  • Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
