Director of Teaching & Learning - Years 7-12 (POR 4)

We are seeking a passionate, dynamic and experienced educator to lead teaching and learning across our Secondary Campus. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of education for students in Years 7–12.

About the Role

As the Director of Teaching and Learning, you will:

  • Lead curriculum development and teaching practices that reflect current pedagogy and evidence-based methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of high expectations, professional growth, and student success.
  • Be a collaborative and consultive leader for staff to ensure alignment with the College's mission and strategic direction.
  • This tenured leadership role (POR 4) includes some teaching responsibilities and offers the chance to make a lasting impact in a growing College community known for its strong academic outcomes and increasing enrolments.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Current Teacher Registration in South Australia.
  • Accreditation to teach in Catholic Education South Australia.
  • Current and acceptable Working with Children Clearance and screening to work in Catholic Education SA.
  • Current valid Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care certificate
  • Applicable First Aid Certificate.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to the role.
  • Deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and SACE requirements, with experience in curriculum design and implementation across multiple subject areas
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or curriculum coordination role
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant teaching discipline, with postgraduate qualifications in educational leadership preferred
