Are you a seasoned HR professional ready to take on a strategic business partnering role in a dynamic and supportive team? Our client – a key commercial division of a government organisation – is seeking a Senior People & Culture Business Partner to join their People & Safety team.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with managers on workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and exits
  • Provide expert advice on performance management, grievances, and disciplinary matters
  • Lead investigations, facilitate mediations, and advise on industrial instruments
  • Contribute to change management and organisation-wide people initiatives
  • Support learning and development strategies in collaboration with OD specialists
  • Coach leaders on employee engagement and effective people management
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and legislation in line with best practice
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a senior HR business partner or similar
  • Strong background in ER/IR and complex case management
  • Sound understanding of the Fair Work Act and public sector industrial instruments
  • Experience in leading change and organisational development projects
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or related field (desirable)
  • A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

  • Ability to balance commercial awareness with compliance
