Sam I Am is a highly regarded boutique artist agency and production company based in Sydney with an exceptional roster of photographers, directors and stylists.

Everyone at SIA love what we do, and we bring that passion to image & video making for our clients and management for our Artists.

We have two openings for experienced and driven Senior Creative Producers to join our outstanding & growing team asap.

There are two facets to the role:

• The Senior Producer works across shoot coordination and delivery for clients, 80% of the role.
• The Agent element of the role services our rostered artists & the SIA brand by keeping abreast of artist marketing plans and helping them to be the best versions of their creative selves, 20% of the role.

Location: Hybrid, minimum 3 days a week in our Surry Hills office

Salary: Package negotiable, dependent on level of experience

Founded in 2002 and based in Sydney, Sam I Am services commercial clients locally, nationally and globally to produce acclaimed digital, print, broadcast, branded content, advertising, editorial, film, TVC and personal projects.

Core Responsibilities

PRODUCER

• Strengthen the Sam I Am brand by being passionate, authentic, clear in communication, warm, connected, efficient and solution-driven
• Manage the end-to-end production process for still, motion & integrated projects, from initial concept development to final delivery.
• Lead collaboratively with directors, photographers, clients, and creative teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Consistent, detailed management of project pipelines and status tracking.
• Create and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective production.
• Source and negotiate with vendors, including studios, equipment rentals, and props, to secure necessary resources within budget.
• Organise and coordinate production logistics, including scheduling, location scouting, and talent casting.
• Provide creative input and guidance to enhance projects' visual quality and impact.
• Ensure compliance with legal and copyright requirements in collaboration with legal teams.
• Confident pitching & treatment creation.

Agent

• Be abreast of the SIA brand & each artist's strategy.
• Identify new opportunities for the SIA brand in line with sales & marketing strategies.
• Curation of imagery for pitching/marketing purposes.
• Confident in making initial connections with potential clients.
• Identifying new opportunities for the SIA brand & artists in line with sales & marketing strategies.
• Keeping abreast of editorial, advertising and fashion industry developments.
• Reinforcing the Sam I Am brand at every client touchpoint.

Key Attributes

• At least 3-5 years of local industry experience

• Able to work well under pressure, juggling multiple productions and new enquiries

• Highly driven and motivated
• Collaborative team player but also great at working autonomously & independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Photographic and/or Motion Producer or similar role in the photography industry.
• Strong knowledge of photographic and motion production processes, including pre-production, on-set operations, and post-production.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Extensive network and relationships with industry vendors, such as studios, equipment suppliers, and talent agencies.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools used for project management and image editing.
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative mindset and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
