This is a full-time PhD opportunity in Biochemical Engineering / Sustainable Polymer Materials for Food Packaging at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus. The PhD candidate will be engaged in research on developing sustainable polymer materials for food packaging. Role DescriptionThe PhD opportunity involves research on developing sustainable polymer materials for food packaging. Day-to-day tasks include conducting experiments, data collection and analysis, literature review, and report writing. This position requires on-site work in Goa, India.
Qualifications- Strong background in Biochemical Engineering, Polymer Science, and Material Science
- Experience with conducting research, experiments, and data analysis in a lab setting
- Skills in scientific writing, literature review, and report preparation
- Knowledge of sustainable materials and environmental impact assessment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment
- Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science, or a related field
