About Mindray:
At Mindray, we are dedicated to advancing health technology to bring better care to all. Since our inception in 1991, we've fostered innovation and achieved significant global impact. With operations spanning across 51 subsidiaries and a team of over 18,000 employees worldwide, we serve healthcare providers in over 190 countries and regions. Our comprehensive solutions empower healthcare providers, optimising management and boosting efficiency.
Position Overview:
Are you passionate about healthcare technology and eager to make a significant impact in the medical industry? Mindray, a global leader in medical devices and solutions, is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Account Manager to join our friendly and supportive Patient Monitoring and Life Support team. Based in Townsville, this role will see you working closely with our service, operations, and clinical teams to drive revenue growth and expand market share for Mindray's Patient Monitoring and Life Support solutions across Far North Queensland (FNQ).
Responsibilities:
- Achieve Sales Targets: Forecast, plan, and meet individual sales goals by leveraging commercial partnerships and managing time effectively to balance sales activities and administrative tasks.
- Drive Product Adoption: Promote awareness, acceptance, and usage of Mindray's Patient Monitoring solutions in both public and private hospitals within the assigned territory.
- Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships: Establish and grow strong, long-term partnerships with existing and prospective customers to build a healthy and sustainable sales funnel.
- Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Analyse market potential, research future opportunities, and assess the value of customer accounts to maximise sales impact across the territory.
- Manage Sales Processes and Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on sales opportunities and market trends; maintain accurate CRM records and develop clear, professional proposals and quotations.
- Lead Product Demonstrations and Collaborations: Organise and execute product trials with support from Clinical Application Specialists and Service Engineers; coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay Informed and Engaged: Remain current with product knowledge, competitive landscape, and market trends; attend trade shows and undertake ongoing training and development as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Business, Engineering or a related field; clinical or technical background (e.g. nursing, paramedical) highly regarded.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the medical device industry.
- Solid knowledge of Patient Monitoring and Life Support solutions, preferably in acute care settings (ICU, OR, ED, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Resilient and self-motivated, with the ability to navigate setbacks and rejections in a competitive market; able to work autonomously.
- Familiarity with the territory and existing customer networks is an advantage; current driver's licence and own vehicle required.
What's In It For You?
- A rewarding opportunity to grow your career and be part of a dynamic, expanding business.
- A chance to make a real impact by applying your skills and experience in a meaningful role.
- Ongoing training and development to support your professional growth and keep your knowledge current.
- A competitive remuneration package that recognises your contributions.
- Be part of an exciting time of growth and play a pivotal role in shaping our success.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:
We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture where diversity enriches our customer insights and gives us a competitive edge. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion extends wholeheartedly to all candidates. We warmly welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including those from First Nations communities. We firmly believe that a diverse workforce not only reflects the communities we serve but also brings unique experiences and perspectives that drive innovation and excellence in everything we do.
