Our team thrives at the intersection of agriculture and automation, combining hands-on grit with cutting-edge technology. If you're energized by solving real-world problems, owning your work, and using AI to do things better and faster, this is your kind of place.

The Opportunity

As a Maintenance Technician at 4AG Robotics, you'll be on the front lines of keeping our advanced robotic systems running smoothly in commercial mushroom farms. This hands-on role is critical in supporting the reliability and performance of our technology in real-world conditions. You'll work directly with our customers, helping them maintain their systems, troubleshoot issues, and extend the lifespan of cutting-edge robotics that are changing the face of agriculture.

What You'll Do
  • Perform regular maintenance and service on robotic systems installed at farm sites.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
  • Support installations by configuring and calibrating systems to meet on-site requirements and specifications.
  • Provide both on-site and remote support to resolve the technical problems quickly and effectively.
  • Train farm staff on daily maintenance procedures and best practices to keep systems running.
  • Work closely with engineering to report and resolve recurring technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate service logs, preventive maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
  • Assist with field trials and prototype testing, providing hands-on feedback and insight.
  • Build strong relationships with farm partners, serving as a reliable technical resource.
  • Follow all health, safety, and biosecurity protocols while working in diverse environments.
  • Be flexible to work outside of standard hours when needed to meet farm schedules or urgent support needs.
What Success Looks Like
  • Robotic systems stay operational and effective with minimal downtime.
  • Customers trust and rely on you as their go-to technical support contact.
  • Maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely.
  • You proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance or reliability.
  • Your service logs and documentation are thorough, up-to-date, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • You're a valued team player who communicates clearly with both internal teams and external partners.
What You Bring
  • Technical certification or training in robotics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience working in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support roles—ideally in agriculture, automation, or robotics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills across electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation, PLCs, and control systems is a strong asset.
  • Great communication and customer service skills, you're calm under pressure and thrive in the field.
  • Willingness to travel and work in farm environments, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to travel internationally.
  • Flexibility in work hours and availability for travel on short notice.
Why This Role Matters

At 4AG Robotics, our mission is to bring automation to the agricultural sector, starting with mushrooms. As a Maintenance Technician, you make that mission real. Your work ensures our technology performs where it matters most: on the farm.
