Job Description

Cater Care Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Mine Site Cleaner / Utility to join our team at Ravenswood (2206), located in Townsville. This full-time position within the CCS Operations department offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a mine site environment. As a Mine Site Cleaner / Utility, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing general cleaning duties in designated areas of the mine site, including but not limited to offices, common areas, and facilities
  • Ensuring that all cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with company standards and health and safety regulations
  • Operating cleaning equipment and chemicals effectively and safely
  • Supporting catering operations by undertaking cleaning duties if required
  • Adhering to waste management procedures by correctly sorting and disposing of waste materials
  • Contributing to the maintenance of stock levels for cleaning supplies and consumables
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional service and uphold a clean, safe work environment
The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
