About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Open Cut Examiner to join our team at Bravus Mining & Resources, with a strong background in coal mining and a proven track record of ensuring operational excellence and safety.

Key Accountabilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of mine sites to identify potential hazards and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Develop and implement effective quality assurance procedures to ensure high-quality coal production.
  • Provide expert advice to site personnel on coal quality, spontaneous combustion, and CHPP interface issues.
  • Participate in daily production planning meetings to discuss job safety analysis and risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of site inspections, coal quality data, and safety-related incidents.
Requirements
  • Possession of relevant qualifications and experience in open cut coal mining, including OCE examiner certification.
  • Strong understanding of coal mining processes, including coal quality management and spontaneous combustion prevention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
